Board of Education Vacancies

Effective January 1, 2025, two (2) seats will be vacant on the Webberville Board of Education's seven (7) member board.    

The State of Michigan General School Laws state that board member vacancies shall be filled within 30 days from the effective date of a vacancy.  Each vacancy shall be filled with a legally qualified person who is appointed by vote of the remaining members of the board at a regular or special meeting of the board.  Each person appointed to fill a vacancy shall file acceptance of the office with the secretary of the board and shall take the oath of office as prescribed by law.
