Parent Involvement

Building a foundation of strong relationships among our students and their families is a high priority at Webberville. We welcome families to join more specific parts of our school community, as well.  Parents and guardians can become members of our Parent Advisory Team, School Improvement Team and/or our Boosters Organization. Please contact us if you would like to sign up to join one of these teams and help our school be the best it can be.

The Webberville Elementary Boosters is an active organization of parents and school staff who sponsor and organize events to bring the family and school together. Boosters will raise funds with the intention that those monies be used to provide educational enhancements that are directly related to student learning. Meetings are held monthly and we would love to welcome you at our next meeting.  Contact us for our next meeting date and time.

Webberville Elementary’s Parent Advisory Team is made up of the principal and a core group of parents.  This team serves as the sounding board for new ideas and curriculum initiatives that are happening in the school.  This team allows for parents to have a voice; sharing their thoughts, opinions, and ideas about how to continuously improve Webberville Elementary.  This team meets monthly.

Webberville Elementary’s School Improvement Team meets once a month to evaluate the school’s improvement goals and also create new goals for continued improvement.  Currently, the team works on our building goals focused on language arts, math, behavior/social emotional and family engagement.  Teachers, the principal, a district board member, and parents work together to evaluate the effectiveness of our school’s goals by reviewing data on a regular basis.
