Sinking Fund

Proposal Details:

Webberville Schools is requesting a Sinking Fund Levy of 3 mills over 10 years. If approved, the Sinking Fund would generate approximately $458,000 annually.

The district has several areas in need of infrastructure repair and upgrade. The State of Michigan funds school districts for basic educational needs like instructional costs, support services, and general building operations. Funds generated through a local Sinking Fund are utilized to improve school safety and security, repair and improve aging facilities, and acquire or upgrade technology.
