BIOGRAPHY
Mrs. Fitzgerald has been in education for ten years. She taught second grade for five years in Minnesota before moving to Michigan. She is entering her sixth year at Webberville Elementary and will be teaching second grade.
Mrs. Fitzgerald conducted research and published a Masters paper entitled: "The Effect of a Regularly Scheduled Writer's Workshop on Improved Student Writing Performance". She has had post-graduate training in reading instruction and assessment, Writer's Workshop, and general performance assessment. Mrs. Fitzgerald serves on the School Improvement, Curriculum, and Social committees and is a co-chair on the North Central Accreditation committee at the Elementary School Level. She is also a Teacher Leader and acts as the Webberville Elementary Student Council advisor.
