The Coast Guard Academy uses a rolling admission process that begins in November and ends in June. Acceptance notifications are made on a continuous basis beginning on 15 December and ending on 1 June. You are required to accept or decline an appointment by 1 May, or if appointed after 15 April, within two weeks of our offer. Unlike the other service academies, we don’t require a congressional nomination.

 

HIGH School Juniors Experience the Coast Guard Academy this Summer!

AIM (Academy Introduction Mission) is a one-week summer program for rising High School seniors. Intense, exciting, non-stop - it’s a chance to see if the Academy is right for you - and if you have what it takes to succeed. If selected, you will experience the Coast Guard Academy personally - just like a cadet - for one week in July.
