Secondary Charge Procedures

Student Lunch Purchasing and Charge Policy

Middle and high school students will not be allowed to charge school lunches. In addition, please note that no ala carte items or breakfast charging will be allowed. If a student does not have any money in their lunch account, the student will be given a cheese sandwich, vegetable, fruit and milk. This courtesy will be expected to be paid in full the next school day.

Lunch Account Information

At any time parents may contact the food service office for information on their students account, make payments, pay off debts, find out what their students are eating, and get positive balance information. The food service office is open from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please note that checks are easier to trace should that become necessary.

Family Accounts

If you have multiple students in one family who have lunch accounts, the money deposited into those accounts are considered a family account for one household. You can still deposit a dedicated amount into each child’s account, but if one child in the family goes into a negative balance, money will be drawn from the other child’s account to cover the amount owed. If you have any questions, please call food service.
