The Moore family opened their small business in Webberville in 1946. The business has been in the family for 53 years. It started out as a wood working shop and through the years has become a welding/fabricating shop.
Buzz Moore who started the family business enjoyed this kind of work and he was good at it. When he passed away, his son Ron purchased it and has owned it for 33 years. Ron’s son Scott has been employed there for 15 years. They also have two full-time and one part-time employees.
The year 1998 was a good year for business because it was a busy place all year long. Many customers come from as far as Fenton, Brighton, Howell, as well as Williamston and Webberville.
The owners of the business enjoy the variety that it gives them each day.
