Webberville Community Schools Strategic Plan - 2006 to 2011
With deep appreciation and gratitude the Board of Education would like to say thank you to the community members, parents and Webberville Community Schools’ staff and administrators who have participated in the strategic planning sessions. This strategic plan is our road map to the future. We use the vision to inspire us, the mission to guide us, the strategies to direct us, and the core values to mold us as we strive to become a premier school of excellence.
We publish the strategic plan on our website and in print for the public to have a copy. The publication of the strategic plan along with two semi-annual public reviews of the strategic plan holds the school system accountable for achieving the goals set forth in the strategic plan. As a result, the strategic plan is a living document that will forever alter the course of Webberville Community Schools. Webberville Community Schools will no longer be a school that is reactionary to the changes and trends in the world around us. Instead, Webberville Community Schools will be a school district that will help lead the way to meaningful, effective and efficient change as we set the new standards of excellence in education. Therefore, this strategic plan is evolving and changing every six months in order to keep abreast of the changes occurring in our world. By monitoring the leading indicators of change, we know more precisely the new essential skills and essential knowledge that our students will need in order to be highly competitive in our ever changing world. Therefore, this strategic plan will be a living document and a great legacy of the original strategic planning committee. With sincere gratitude and respect for those who invested their time, we will make certain that your efforts will be honored by how we carry out this plan to fruition.
