The Cultural Center has three departments in it. They are the Webberville Library, Police Office, and the Village Office. The Center was built in 1991, after the Webberville Library burned down and the Fire Department moved to another location in town.
Cheryl Miceli is the head librarian at the library. It’s an Ingham County District Library. She has four employees. Each employee chose the job because they wanted to help people. They also enjoy reading and getting to meet lots of people. They some new computers that people can use. They also have a large video and Nintendo library that people can rent.
Officer Blair is a police officer who has been in Webberville for four years. Two other officers who assist him are Officer Flint and Officer Marble. The officers selected this job because they liked law enforcement. The Webberville Police Department is part of the Ingham County Sheriff Department. The year 1998, was a good one for the Webberville police because there we no serious injuries or major crimes in this area.
The Webberville Village Office is another part of the Cultural Center. This office has an important job because they are in charge of all of Webberville. There are about 25 full and part time workers who help at the office. The workers like their job because the get to meet lots of people and help them with their problems. The original Village Office was built 1228 years ago. Thus, the new office is really being enjoyed.
