2005 M.I.T.E.S. State Project Fair

 

The Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society held their state project fair in Grand Rapids May 5 th-7 th. Webberville students had 34 of the 3900 project entries at the state competition. Here are the results from Webberville students:

 

1 st- Kyle Fink- tower and drawing and Chelsea Howe- research paper.

 

2 nd- Ashley Woods- bio-device, Aaron Chamberlain- Co2 car, and Sam Sparkla- research paper.

 

3 rd- Jeremy Ferris- wood model, Shelby McComb- exploded view drawing, Brenda Burrum- Co2 car, Sam Sparkla- invention, Katie Pingle- research paper, and Eric Haite- bio-device.

 

4 th- Stephany Bohlmann-research paper and Billy Patton- Co2 car.

 

5 th- Brandon Spitzley-teaching aide and Chelsea Howe- bio-device.

 

6 th- Jason Lane- teaching aide, and Sam Sparkla- bio-device.

 

7 th- Ken Wakeman- bow and arrow wall rack

 

8 th- Cody Refior- multiple wood turnings and Ken Wakeman- teaching aide.

 

9 th- John McCurdy- turned wood bowl, Aaron Chamberlain- tower and drawing, and Jordan Brooks- Co2 car.

 

10 th- Jason Lane- outdoor furniture.

 

Honorable Mentions- Andrew Daybird- table with drawers and wood model, Jason Lane- turned lamp, Jacob Jaeger- CAD drawing, Kyle Fink- CAD drawing, Jeremy Ferris, Ross Pollok, and Brandon Spitzley- Co2 cars, Ken Wakeman- gun cabinet, and Shelby McComb- Table with drawer.
