Increasing the Fine Arts Opportunities in Webberville

 

Last May, The Webberville Fine Arts Council embarked on a campaign to expand the fine arts programs in the Webberville Community Schools. The council began a fundraising effort to raise $52,000 to purchase new instruments and refurbish donated instruments. In addition, the council began seeking donations of musical instruments that would be used by students who could not afford to purchase one on their own.

 

To date, the district has received 5 donated instruments and $7,150 dollars towards our goal of $52,000. The district would like to thank the following individuals, businesses, and community groups for their support of our fine arts program:

The goal of the Webberville Fine Arts Council is to create opportunities to expand the number of students participating in the fine arts program. The fundraising and instrument donation drive will continue until we reach our goal of providing every interested student access to an musical instrument.

 

If you are interested in donating a used instrument, please contact the superintendent’s office at 521-3422, or drop the instrument off at the administration office located at 313 East Grand River, Webberville.

 

If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation, please make your check payable to: Webberville Fine Arts Council, C/O Webberville Community Schools, 313 East Grand River, Webberville, MI 48892.
